Clinic re-opening notice and COVID spread reduction measures
Our UK clinics will be fully operational on July 20th following guidance from the UK Government and observing Public Health England and World Health Organisation guidelines on COVID-19.
Unfortunately, this will result in some changes to our normal mode of operations. All of these are designed to respect and protect your health and wellbeing, as well as that of our staff. We have drawn up protocols to ensure the clinic facilities are thoroughly cleaned at regular intervals and that changes to our procedures are in full compliance with all social distancing and hygiene regulations.
Attendance at the clinic will be by prior arrangement, by appointment only. Appointments must be made in advance by email: firstname.lastname@example.org or calling the office on 0121 296 9280. Initial consultations and other advice will continue to be provided by video-conferencing methods such as Zoom, Skype, FaceTime or WhatsApp.
Our immediate priority is to accommodate all clients whose appointments were cancelled due to the ‘lockdown restrictions’. If you are in this group you will have been called by us already to re-schedule. If we have been unable to reach you please do not hesitate to get in touch.
If you have an appointment, we will be call you prior to ensure that you are not exhibiting any of the associated symptoms.
If you feel unwell or have any symptoms of COVID-19 you should not attend your appointment. Please call or email us to rearrange.
We will operate a temperature screening policy for anybody entering the clinic, this will be done in a private, zoned area just inside our entrance and immediately on arrival. A temperature reading of 37.8°C or above will prevent you from being admitted to the clinic. The screening will be repeated in this instance to ensure a correct reading.
At each clinic we will be practicing advised social distancing measures. We will achieve this by limiting your exposure to other clients and staff-members. For this reason, we recommend that you attend any appointment on time, not arriving too early or late. Please advise us at the earliest opportunity of any difficulty you’re having with this.
There will be sufficient time allowed between appointments to ensure you are not in the presence of others and in order for us to fully clean the treatment and public areas.
During the SMP procedure you will be required to wear a face mask and eye protection. Our practitioners will be following strict PPE guidance and clothed in protective equipment including a face visor. This is to ensure that the risk of transmission of any virus is severely restricted.
Payment for treatment will be by bank transfer, credit or debit card for the foreseeable future. We are unable to take cash payments due to the risk of transmission.
The comprehensive measures we have introduced are designed to protect you and limit the risk of contracting and spreading the virus. We appreciate your assistance in complying with this policy. Those who feel unable to comply, or uncomfortable with these measures, will be able to postpone treatment to a later date. Refusal to comply with the conditions imposed whilst at the clinic will force us to cancel treatment and retain any deposit and other monies paid.
Infection control and prevention are at the core of our strategy. Your protection and health are of paramount importance to us and we take our responsibilities extremely seriously. We want to help solve your hair loss issues in a safe, supportive, clean and comfortable environment. These measures will enable us to continue to do this and we appreciate your support.
